Villa Donoratico este un cupaj din patru soiuri (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot şi Petit Verdot) vinificate separat. Fermentarea şi macerarea se produc în recipient de oţel, timp de 20-25 de zile, apoi se transferă în butoaie de stejar franţuzesc, unde se maturează timp de minimum 12 luni. Cele 10 luni petrecute ulterior în sticlă îl desăvârşesc şi îl fac potrivit pentru consum. Vinul are o culoare roşu-rubiniu intens, cu reflexe violet. Buchetul este complex, dezvăluind note de prune, mentă, fructe de pădure, eucalipt. Este un vin cu o structură deosebită, aromat şi cu un post-gust proaspăt şi mineral, potrivit pentru preparate bogate, cu gusturi intense.
